Stone Fruit & Brown Sugar Goat Cheese Tarte

Ingredients:

  • 1 puff pastry sheet

  • 4 oz goat cheese

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • Various stone fruit

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • flaky salt

Directions:

  1. Score your puff pastry around the edge to have a border along the tarte. Egg wash your puff pastry.

  2. Bake puff pastry at 375  for about 20 minutes or until golden brown

  3. While the puff pastry is baking mix goat cheese with brown sugar. I softened the goat cheese for about 20 seconds in the microwave.

  4. After the puff pastry is out of the oven, press the center in with the back of a spoon, leaving puffed up edges.

  5. Spread the goat cheese mixture in a thin layer over the puff pastry.

  6. Arrange stone fruit on top of the tarte.

  7. Whip cream, honey, and vanilla until peaks are formed.

  8. Slice tarte and top with whipped cream and flaky salt.
